  • Spearheaded the design efforts for Citro, including the creation of initial branding, design system, and the development of the MVP for successful Alpha launch.

During my time at Atlassian, I had the opportunity to work closely with the user growth team, playing a crucial role in shaping the user experience for first-time users and introducing them to other relevant Atlassian products. Although my stay was relatively short, I collaborated extensively with engineers and product managers to drive business growth and enhance the initial user experience.

  • Worked diligently to create a seamless onboarding process for new users, ensuring they had a smooth introduction to Atlassian's suite of products.

At Canva, a SaaS design tool that empowers everyone in creation, I joined the company during a period of hyper-growth. As the company delved into Canva for Business, a dedicated SaaS tool for business users, I played a pivotal role in shaping its trajectory. Notably, when the global pandemic struck, the importance of team collaboration and content management became paramount for business users and teams.

Key Contributions:

  • Led the design efforts as a lead product designer for the content management feature.

  • Successfully launched product features such as team collaboration tools and a Content Management System tailored for businesses and teams.

  • Conducted extensive research, including problem discovery and running numerous usability tests.

  • Provided crucial support for the launch of Canva for Business.

  • Adapted and transformed the collaboration and content management tool for Canva Education and Canva Pro.

During my stay at Domain, I had the privilege of taking the lead on several high-impact projects that made a significant difference. I played a key role in the development of Domain Pricefinder, a comprehensive property data app catering to B2B agent services, and also contributed to the design of the Domain website for consumers.

Key Contributions:

  • Led the complete redesign of the Domain Pricefinder, designing the end-to-end user experience. Through meticulous design efforts, we successfully launched the mobile app, providing users with a seamless and intuitive property data search experience.

  • Spearheaded design initiatives for innovative projects on the B2C Domain website, work the product manager strategically creating unique selling points that greatly enhanced the user experience. These efforts focused on delivering a captivating and user-friendly interface that exceeded customer expectations.

  • Took charge of pivotal design projects such as "School Catchment Search," "Domain Rental Form Design," "User Profiling," and "Domain Home Price Guide." By leveraging my expertise, these initiatives delivered remarkable improvements to the user experience across web and mobile platforms.

  • Led a research project centred around the Domain Persona, crafting a comprehensive toolkit that empowered not just the product development team but also the marketing and sales teams. This toolkit facilitated innovation workshops and enabled teams to make data-driven decisions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving growth.

During my time at Zynga, a renowned online game company known for its popular social games in the US during the 2010s, I served as a user experience designer. Working closely with game designers, producers, and engineers, my role focused on launching products and localising Zynga's hero games like FarmVille and CityVille for the Chinese market.
 

Key Contributions:

  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to conduct user research and gather valuable insights, ensuring that our game designs aligned with the preferences and behaviours of the Chinese market.

  • Played an integral role in improving the user experience by implementing design solutions that resonated with Chinese players, resulting in enhanced engagement and satisfaction.

  • Worked closely with game designers to adapt and optimise game mechanics, user interfaces, and overall gameplay to cater to the specific needs and cultural nuances of the Chinese player base.

  • Actively participated in localisation efforts, ensuring that the game content and messaging were culturally appropriate and effectively localised for the Chinese audience.

  • Leveraged my expertise in user experience design to enhance the overall player journey, focusing on improving onboarding, progression systems, and social interactions within the games.
